Cubanocanadian and Trinidad, Cuba Artists Featured in Arte Por Excelencias Magazine

Issue No. 24 of the magazine Arte Por Excelencias last month provided coverage of the Trinidad Visual Arts Project (Proyecto Artes Visuales de Trinidad), including works by Cubanocanadian featured artists Yasiel Elizagaray, Edras Francisco Rodriguez Portales and Julio Cesar Cepeda, along with several other prominent Trinidad artists.
Under the direction of artist and local UNEAC vice-president Alain Fernández Ferreira, the project is a municipal initiative for the promotion and marketing of the city as an artistic and cultural hub.
Supporting the collaborative efforts of local artists in developing new art spaces and exhibition opportunities, the project is already creating even more opportunities in what is already an incredibly vibrant artistic community.
